Terregiunte comes from regions that express great personality and unique identity
while being open to outside encounters. “Made in Italy” at its finest.
LAND
Masi’s hillside vineyards traditionally cultivated on pergolas with expositions toward the setting sun.
METHOD
Grapes are subjected to the ancient appassimento method of grape drying:.in Autumn, selected grapes from hillside vineyards are laid out on traditional bamboo racks. At the end of the process the grapes lost 35% of their weight and acquired greater sugar concentration and complexity.
LAND
Old vines, bush-trained in the Puglian fashion on clay soil about 90 metres above sea level.
METHOD
When grapes already fully formed and ripe, winemakers carry out the “strozzatura del peduncolo“ (stalk choking) process to restrict the supply of sap, thus promoting a natural grape drying process on the vine.

Terre Giunte
The fine wines of the 2016 vintage of Masi Agricola and Futura 14 are also enhanced through a joint malolactic fermentation, a prolonged aging in small oak barrels and resting in the bottle. Thus, Terregiunte was born.
Tasting notes:
Deep ruby red colour. On the nose, balsamic with hints of tobacco, black cherry, myrtle, and plums with a pinch of cocoa. On the palate, the structure is compact, progressive, dense and delicious; full-bodied and powerful with elegant and silky tannins. The finish is very pleasant with hints of sweet and sour cherries.
